Digital Evidence Services

What is digital evidence?

"Digital evidence or electronic evidence is any probative information stored or transmitted in digital form that a party to a court case may use at trial. Before accepting digital evidence a court will determine if the evidence is relevant, whether it is authentic, if it is hearsay and whether a copy is acceptable or the original is required."

This could be CCTV on a USB stick, it could be a picture taken on a mobile phone, it could be an email, it could be a DVD or CDRom containing images and videos. Whatever media type you have, we offer a court room ready service putting all your digital media on a DVD video in a format that can be played without any technical knowhow.

Police have CCTV from a local authority, video of incident from a witness’s mobile phone, and a tape recording of a 999 call, all placed on one DVD ready for court. It comes to light that the evidence they have is missing two other witnesses mobile phone video footage and the solicitors wish to add to the Police evidence or create their own DVD. This is when you give it all to us and we can do exactly that.
